My name is Bobby. I am 10 years old. Let me tell you a horrible story. It's kind of like 9 nightmares. I don't know how my nightmares came to real life. It happened on my birthday. My birthday cake exploded. I was kind of funny. But that was my favorite cake in the world. The first nightmare looked like a big monster. Oh, I forgot to tell you. A weird book appeared on my shelf. If you open the book, the nightmare will come to real life. And I have to introduce you to my family. My three younger sisters are, Terri, Kate, and Shirley. And my twin brother, Josh, is my favorite member of the family. He likes everything I like. Like we both like basketball. But I won't tell my brother about the nightmares. Even though I know he won't be scared, I just don't think he would take it seriously. And my sisters won't even take seriously ever! I want to read the weird book. Wait. I remembered if you open the book, the nightmares will come out. "Hmm, what should I do?" I knew I couldn't play basketball because Josh went to summer camp. Kate and Shirley went to summer camp too. And Terri is only 2 years old. Wait a second, I can call Jimmy over to my house. He is my best friend in school. I walked over to the telephone. I tripped over Terri's rocking chair. "Oops!" "WAH!," cried Terri. "Sorry!", I told her. I gave Terri her favorite toy. She stared drooling all over my hand. "Yuck!", I said.

Ding Dong! "Hey Jimmy!" "Nice to meet you!," he said.  "Do you want to play with my new Wii?," I asked. "Sure man," he said. We were playing "Alien Invader". The game is like 1 alien has some eggs and if you  break them, more aliens will come out of it. "How much points do you have?" Jimmy asked. "34" I said. "Man!" he said. "I only have 15!" Jimmy said."Dude, cool book," he said. "Wait!" I said. "Don't open it!" Too late. He already opened the book. "Let's get out of here!" I said "Why?" he asked. "No time to explain!"
"RRRRROOOOOAAAAAARRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" "Ahh!" we both said. "Run!" "I HUNGER!" "Does he want to eat us?" I asked Jimmy. "I think he does!" he said." Is that the same monster that came on your birthday?" Jimmy asked."Yeah!" I said. I saw Kate and Shirley riding their bikes toward the house. "Go the other way!" I told them. "Okay!" they said. I ran as fast as I could. My heart was thumping really fast. "Jimmy! Are you okay?" "Yeah!" he said. "Bobby! Slow down!" Kate said. "Get off your bike and run!" I said. "You can run faster than riding on a bike!" "But this is my favorite bike!" she said. "Forget about it!" I said. She threw her bike aside. Then she ran very fast. The monster was running toward a summer camp. Was it my brother's camp? No time to find out. I've got to safe whoever are in there! I ran as fast as I could. I tried to tackle the monster. He fell down. MMMMMOOOOOAAAAAANNNNN! The monster's moan was so loud! My ears were hurting so much! "Jimmy! Go get the book!" I said.

After Jimmy gave me the book, I put the monster inside it. "Josh! Where are you?"  I asked. "I'm right here you scaredy-cat," he said. "Why in the world did you open the weird book?" "What?! How do you know about the book?" I asked. Josh said, "Remember? You told me it 4 years ago. There was 9 nightmares in that book. You didn't know how they came out of your dream. And......... that's all." "Jimmy! Where are you? You got me into big trouble! And I didn't even do anything! Next time you come over I'll hide it somewhere!" I said. I ran to home. "Josh! There is bad news!" I said. "What? A pigeon followed you?" he asked sarcastically. "No!" I said. "So "no" is the problem?" Kate and Shirley were laughing. My face was really hot. I knew I was blushing. "Never mind," I said. I went outside to play basketball. I have to get to the rhythm of swishing the jump shots. My other friend's car rolled up my driveway. His name was Tom. "Hey Tom," I said. "Want to play basketball?" "Sure," he said. "Should we play against Kate, Shirley, and Josh? We can be on a team. And Josh, Kate, and Shirley can be on a team." "Oh yeah," I said. When I went inside there, I saw Josh showing off his tattoos on his back. "Ooh!" said the girls. Terri was crying. I think it was because she wanted the tattoos. I told her those tattoos are bad for you. They have chemicals in them. You can never take them out. Terri wanted to eat. I gave Terri her favorite food. It also is very healthy for babies like Terri.

Ding Dong! "Jimmy! Why did you come here?" "Well, I did bring Jake here. He wants to play basketball," said Jimmy. "Jake?! No way! Not in my house! He's going to open the book. I think the next one is really tiny.
