My India Trip 2015

                                                       My trip to India


My name is Aditya and I am 7 years old. Today was the day I was going to India. I was really excited. And also sad that I was leaving my dad. I wondered how it would be in a airplane. And I hoped there would be television. I am in my car now. My brother Sujay was very quiet in the car ride. I said bye to my dad and we were going to the airplane. Then I was in the airplane. There was a little problem in the airplane but then it got fixed we were flying.

                                                     The Chicago airport


At the Chicago airport for breakfast I had bagel with cream cheese and my mom had the same thing that I had and my brother had bagel with egg and cheese. Then we were done with our breakfast and then we had to go our terminal. Then we waited for 2 hours and then we were in the airplane. We had to go to Abu Dhabi. It was a really long ride. It was 16 hours flight

We finally arrived to the Abu Dhabi airport. I was really excited to go there. We were really close to go to India. Same thing again we had to wait 2 hours. It was so boring. And the announcements are annoying too. It gave me a headache. We read books and saw Ipad. Then it was time to go to the airplane. I wish they could just leave when we go in the airplane why do they have to wait for the other people. They are not important.

                                                    The India airport


We were so happy when we came to India.  We got help from a person at the airport to push the carts and get the suit cases. Then sat somewhere and waited for my grandparents to come. We thought the cab went slow. It took them a long time to come there. Behind us was a baby. We played with her for a little while. And then my grand parents and my maama came! I was so happy. I missed them because we went to India 4 years ago. Then we went in a cab when we came home. I was squished, but excited to meet my cousins Saranya and Keerthana who were waiting for us at home.

                                                      First day at Home


When we came home, Saranya and Keerthana were excited to see us, especially to see my mom.
Keerthana gave me Gulab Jamun. Then they showed us the house. We brushed our teeth, took a bath and fed Okra rice by our grandma. It was good. We also had white pa-pad.  We slept a lot that night.

                                                      Fun Day with Keerthana


We woke up and our cousins went to school. It was boring at our house without them. Then Keerthana came home. She was playing pretend play with us, when we were seeing iPad.  After Keerthana was done with her lunch she wanted to play on the swing, but we weren't done with our lunch. After we were done with our lunch we played with her. It was fun. She wanted to go fast on the swing and it was funny the way she says fast. She says 'Fart' and my brother and I laughed a lot.

                                                     Fun times with our Uncle (Maama) and Aunt (Atha)


We played monkey in the middle, Connect 4, Uno, Monopoly, running race, carroms, and catch ball with my uncle and aunt. He took us to bowling  two times, I won the first time and maama won the second time. It was fun. He got me a kids meal in Mcdonalds and I got a minion. I liked it very much.

                                                    Saranya, Keerthana


These are fun times with my cousins. One night night we were really bored and had nothing to do and then we thought of playing hide and seek. It was really fun. Another day we went to the zoo and there was a playground and we played in it. Also there was a car and we sat in it. Our mom took a picture of us. We looked good and it was very fun. And we also went to deer park and there was plants and next to the plants was a thin wall and we were walking on it. I walked pretty fast. My cousins are younger so they walk a little bit slower.

                                         My grandma and grandfather



This chapter is about my grandma and grandfather. One day my grandma and grandfather took me to a store and they bought me a red and black watch and they also bought me some shirts. They were good. I liked the shirt that had sports on it. Another day I wanted to pick up my cousin from school and my grandfather took me to her school. And that is all I did in India. I liked my grandma and my uncle the best in adults.

We also visited my other grandparents. They live in the same city. My nanamma made yummy food and I talked to my thatha a lot.We saw Thor movie at their place. I slept while watching the movie.

                                                       Back to home


Finally it was time to go back home. Everybody came to the airport to say bye to us. They would miss us a lot. We also would miss them a lot too. My grandma was really sad. She was crying. I almost cried but I did not cry. I told my grandma I would come next year and that made her feel a little bit better. I am not sure that I am coming next year I just wanted her to be happy. After a long time we came the cleveland airport. At the airport we took a picture with Anderson Varejao. He is a basketball player. He plays for the cavaliers team. But he got a leg injury this year. We were looking for our dad and then we finally saw him and then we ran to him and hugged him I was so happy to see him. But I was also a little sad. Then I finally went home. I played basketball in my room.
